Vice President of Operations
Hoyt Morgan is the Vice President of Operations at Accion Systems. In this role, Hoyt leads the human resources, facilities and information technology groups as well as assisting with business and capital formation strategies.
Hoyt is an experienced business leader with a successful 25-year track record leading early-stage technology companies into hyper-growth and to exit. He has both hardware and software experience, and a passion for hard tech / deep tech. Most recently Hoyt was Co-Founder and CEO at Neuro Motor Innovations (NMI), a neurotechnology company spun out of Johns Hopkins University. NMI’s novel hardware / software treatment for brain injuries and disease has proven clinical efficacy and is FDA cleared, and the company was acquired by Switzerland-based MindMaze SA.
Earlier in his career, Hoyt was Co-Founder and CEO at Nito, Inc., a face tracking and animation technology company acquired by Verizon Media/AOL. He has also been on leadership teams for entertainment tech, fintech and e-commerce startups. In addition to his role at Accion, Hoyt serves on the advisory board for two startups in the med tech and Ai/IoT sectors.
Hoyt has economics and marketing & management science degrees from Duke University.
